How to Make Gold While Playing World of Warcraft

Did you know that when you’re out leveling your character in World of Warcraft, that you should actually be making gold at the same time? Often, playing the game and making gold becomes two separate functions, but here is how you can make gold while playing World of Warcraft:

Always have a harvesting skill. You never know when an opportunity to harvest something is going to come along. By being prepared and always bringing your equipment, you’ll be ready to take advantage of any opportunities the game presents you. The idea here isn’t the mix harvesting with leveling, as they’re usually two exclusive tasks, but to harvest as you go along. If you see a vein, then mine it. If you see a plant, then harvest it.

If you have a skinning knife, use it. Skinning and leveling can go hand in hand in the right areas, especially when there is a large amount of non-humanoid beasts present. If you’re getting decent experience on the local beasts, why not stick with them and skin at the same time? Sure, you won’t level up quite as fast, but you’ll be getting valuable hides in exchange for slower XP.

If you don’t need it, sell it. Don’t hold on to things forever. Eventually you’re going to have to decide if you’re going to keep or sell something, so why not make the choice now, instead of storing it and wasting space? MMO’s like World of Warcraft are all about how much money you can make per hour, not the possible return on investment of an item if you hold on to it for a few months.

It’s not impossible to make money while playing World of Warcraft. In fact, you can even do it while leveling your character.

Making gold in World of Warcraft isn’t easy, but the WoW Money Making Guide will help you make the gold you need to buy a new set of armor, some new spells, or your own epic mount.
