Sometimes, it is worth the risk and just trying something new. Little did I know several years ago, that I would be living a comfortable lifestyle, working from home writing web copy for a living. There is huge demand for web copy and you don’t even have to be that good. Content is something that is highly sought after. Freshly written, original articles are the food the internet thrives on.
When you think about it, if there were not the thousands just like me, writing content on the web, the web would be a pretty empty space. The point of all this writing is of course to attract an audience. If the web was nothing but advertisements, with no information on it, who in their right mind would spend time on the world wide web? We visit the internet because of all this content and free information. The buyers of the content that writers create, are a clever bunch that understand, to attract an audience, you need interesting content.
Sometimes it doesn’t even have to be that interesting, as long as it is grammatically ok and there is a minimum of spelling mistakes, this is sometimes all they require to pay a writer for their work. The point is, by attracting an audience, a webmaster gets the chance to advertise to them and therefore a chance to make money. So they happily pay people like me, who is not really a writer, just a guy with a lot to say about almost any topic you want me to talk about.
